Our contract

All order requests received are an offer to purchase and are subject to acceptance by Blom Aska, and any of its personnel, reserve the right, at our absolute discretion. In the event of rejection by Blom Aska, we will refund or cancel any payments received in full, via the payment method used to place the order. Acceptance of your offer and completion of the contract between us only takes place when Blom Aska starts to process your order.

Delivery Dates

As a part of the checkout process on this website, you will be able to select the date for the delivery of your order. Blom Aska delivers between the hours of 10am-6pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Should you select a date outside of these days, I will make every effort to satisfy your selection, but this cannot be guaranteed and will contact you to discuss alternatives.

 

Changes to your order

If you wish to alter your order or subscription, please do so by contacting Blom Aska at flowers@blomaska.com. I'll always do my best to make last-minute changes for you, but can only guarantee changes (including to the delivery address, date change and in relation to card messages) where received with not less than 24 hours notice.

 

Your cancellation rights

You can cancel single orders by giving no less than 36 hours notice prior to the requested delivery date. In those circumstances, a full refund will be given. If a lesser period of notice is given, we will only give a refund if I have not started the preparation of your order at the time notice is given. I ask you give notice of cancellation in writing and the best way to do so is to email flowers@blomaska.com.

 

Flower care, refund and replacement policy

Blom Aska goes to great lengths to source the very best flowers and products for all customers. Flowers sold online are perishable and a flower's life span is dependent on the variety, season, environment and care, resulting in varied life spans for different flowers.

Flower availability is dependent on seasonality and market availability. As a result, not all goods produced are exactly as pictured on www.blomaska.com, by accepting these terms and conditions you are acknowledging there will be material differences between images and produced goods.

You can generally expect your flowers to last 4-7 days provided they are cared for correctly.

Flower Care is incredibly important and the responsibility of the recipient upon delivery. Once you have received your flowers, please remove the wrapping paper. The next step is to remove the flower wet pack at the bottom of your bouquet. Cut approximately 1cm off the bottom of the stems immediately and place in a vase full of fresh water so all the stems are submerged. Keep in a cool area out of direct sunlight and change the water frequently. 

5 steps that will help your flowers to last as long as possible: 

  1. Stems should be cut on an angle (in or under running water if possible) as soon as you receive the flowers and placed into a vase full of fresh water.

  2. Ensure the vase that is used is clean and filled full with fresh water

  3. Always keep an eye on the water levels and change the water completely every two days

  4. Keep the flowers out of heat and direct sunlight

  5. Keep the flowers away from drafts and air-conditioning

If you feel the flowers have not lasted for at least 3 days let us know within this time in writing with an image of the flowers to flowers@blomaska.com. Blom Aska reserves the right to request photos or images of the original flowers. Blom Aska requires that any dissatisfaction with the freshness of the flowers be communicated in writing within 3 days of delivery. After communication, a replacement bouquet will be sent on the next available delivery day. Blom Aska does not offer refunds.

To assist in quality control, Blom Aska may request to collect the original flowers. Regrettably, we cannot arrange a redelivery of replacement flowers to you if the original flowers are disposed of or images are unavailable.

These terms and conditions represent the whole agreement between you and Blom Aska concerning your use and access to Blom Aska’s website and your use and access to the documents and information on it. No other term is to be included in this agreement except where it is required to be included by any legislation of the Commonwealth or any State or Territory. All implied terms except those implied by statute and which cannot be expressly excluded are hereby expressly excluded.

Wedding and Events by Blom Aska terms and conditions:

Weddings by Blom Aska

All quotes produced by Blom Aska are valid for thirty (30) days. All weddings require a 30% deposit upon confirmation, unless specified by Blom Aska. Full payment of all Weddings is required two (2) weeks prior to Wedding date. Blom Aska reserves the right to photograph all arrangements upon installation for promotional material use. Cancellations made within three months of Wedding date will result in loss of the complete payable amount. Your quote is based on an agreed amount that cannot be reduced by any more than 30% of the total overall cost. Any hire items sourced by Blom Aska are itemised and charged within the agreed quote. If hired items are damaged by customer or client this will incur additional fees to the value of prop. If collection of hired items occurs outside of business hours, an additional charge will be incurred. All quotes, moodboards, sketches remain the intellectual property of Blom Aska and are not to be shared with any other parties.

Events By Blom Aska

We require acceptance of all quotes no later than 7 days prior to your event. This is due to the ordering of stock and staff scheduling purposes. Cancellations of any events less that 7 days prior to an event date are non-refundable in full. Please note some floral varieties do require 2 weeks advance ordering from our suppliers/growers. All quotes produced by Blom Aska are valid for thirty (30) days. Full payment of all Events is required seven (7) days prior to event dates. Events are confirmed upon receiving of payment. All props provided by Blom Aska are the property of Blom Aska and provided on a hire only basis, unless purchased by the customer or client. Any hire items sourced by Blom Aska are itemised and charged within the agreed quote.If hired items are damaged by customer or client this will incur additional fees to the value of prop. If collection of hired items occurs outside of business hours, an additional charge will be incurred.
